Going On

Around 2004 I started creating small objects with the constraints that they should contain (part of) a capsule, or seed bud, from a Eucalyptus tree and they should be mounted on an exchangeable tripod made of copper wire. To this I added any materials I had at hand. The objects were exhibited in various installations.

This very diverse collection has up to now grown to over 200 pieces, and it is 'Going On', as I have called it. The materials incorporated can be family jewels, pieces of cloth with a special meaning to me, natural materials from my immediate environment, souvenirs from voyages, and so on. In this way each piece has a special meaning to me, apart from its intrinsic beauty or attractiveness.
